Chinese New Year - Montessori Style

This year's Chinese New Year celebration at Devereux School was a spectacular event, as always.  Following a presentation of student-made paper lanterns and Chinese banners the children were treated to a traditional dragon dance, in which all took turns participating. A delicious lunch completed this wonderful experience.  Devereux School's emphasis on kindness and respect for all cultures was on full display.  It was an honor to be a witness to it.
